Analisis Overall Equipment (OEE) untuk Meningkatkan Kinerja Produksi pada Industri Manufaktur Garment PT ELITE

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Packing Finishing machine at PT. ELITE, a garment manufacturing company, during the period of December 01–31, 2025, using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. Data were collected from daily production records, including Loading Time, Operating Time, Ideal Cycle Time, Total Output, and Defect Amount. The results show an OEE value of 69.34%, derived from Availability 72.29%, Performance 99.4%, and Quality 96.51%. The low OEE is primarily caused by high unplanned downtime of 27.71%, which significantly reduces Availability. Although machine Performance is already at world class level, the high downtime and 3.49% defect rate prevent the company from achieving the world class OEE standard of ≥85%. This study recommends reducing downtime through preventive maintenance and SMED implementation.
