Pengantar Hukum Ketenagakerjaan dan Penyelesaian Perselisihan Hubungan Industrial

Abstract

This study aims to analyze labor law regulations and industrial relations dispute settlement mechanisms from the perspective of legal protection for workers in Indonesia. Labor issues have become an important concern in national development because they are directly related to workers’ welfare, legal certainty, and harmonious relations between workers and employers. This research employed a normative juridical method with statutory and conceptual approaches. Data sources were obtained through library research in the form of laws and regulations, scientific books, legal journals, and other supporting documents. The results show that labor law has a strategic function in creating a balance of rights and obligations between workers and employers. In addition, industrial relations disputes are resolved through bipartite negotiations, mediation, conciliation, arbitration, and the Industrial Relations Court in accordance with statutory regulations. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening legal protection for workers in order to create fair, productive, and sustainable industrial relations.
