Withdrawl Policy

The International Journal of Management and Economic Research (IJOMER) understands that circumstances may arise wherein authors need to request the withdrawal of their submitted manuscripts. The withdrawal process is governed by the following policy:

  1. Author-initiated Withdrawal: Authors may request the withdrawal of their manuscript before the commencement of the peer-review process. A written request, including the reasons for withdrawal, should be sent to the editorial office. The withdrawal request will be processed promptly.

  2. Peer-Review Initiated Withdrawal: Once the peer-review process has begun, withdrawal requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Authors should provide valid reasons for the withdrawal, and the decision will be made at the discretion of the editorial team. If the withdrawal is approved, the manuscript will be officially withdrawn from the publication process.

  3. Withdrawal After Acceptance: Manuscripts that have been accepted for publication but are not yet published may still be withdrawn in exceptional circumstances. Authors should communicate their reasons for withdrawal, and the editorial team will assess the situation. If withdrawal is granted, the manuscript will be removed from the publication queue.

  4. Publication Stage Withdrawal: Once a manuscript has been published online or in print, it cannot be withdrawn. In cases where serious ethical issues or errors are identified, corrections or retractions will be considered following established ethical guidelines.

Authors are encouraged to carefully consider the decision to submit their manuscripts and to adhere to ethical standards throughout the publication process. If withdrawal is deemed necessary, authors should communicate promptly with the editorial office to ensure a transparent and smooth withdrawal process.

For specific guidelines and procedures regarding manuscript withdrawal, authors are advised to consult the journal's official website and contact the editorial office: https://ejournal.ayasophia.org/index.php/IJOMER
