Publication Ethic

The International Journal of Management and Economic Research (IJOMER) is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics, integrity, and scholarly responsibility. Authors, editors, reviewers, and all stakeholders involved in the publication process are expected to adhere to the following ethical principles:

  1. Authorship and Originality: Authors should ensure that their submitted work is original and has not been published elsewhere. Proper attribution and acknowledgment of sources must be provided. All listed authors should have made a significant contribution to the research.

  2. Peer Review Process: IJOMER follows a rigorous and transparent peer-review process. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, and their evaluations should be fair, unbiased, and constructive. Authors are encouraged to respond to reviewers' comments with respect and address them appropriately.

  3. Plagiarism and Academic Integrity: Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and avoiding plagiarism. Any form of plagiarism or academic misconduct is strictly prohibited and may result in the rejection of the manuscript.

  4. Conflicts of Interest: Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the objectivity of the publication process. Conflicts should be declared transparently and managed appropriately.

  5. Data and Reproducibility: Authors should provide accurate and transparent data, methods, and results. Raw data should be made available if requested, and studies should be designed and documented in a way that allows for reproducibility.

  6. Editorial Independence: Editors make decisions based on the academic merit of submissions, free from undue influence or bias. Editorial decisions should be transparent, and conflicts of interest should be disclosed and managed.

  7. Ethical Treatment of Participants: Research involving human or animal participants should adhere to ethical standards. Authors should obtain informed consent, and studies should be conducted in accordance with relevant ethical guidelines.

  8. Correction and Retraction: If errors are identified in published work, authors are expected to promptly notify the journal. Corrections or retractions will be issued as necessary, and the correction process will be transparent.

IJOMER is committed to fostering a culture of ethical publishing and expects all contributors to uphold these principles. Violations of these ethics may result in corrective actions, including the retraction of published articles. Authors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the detailed ethical guidelines provided in the journal's Author Guidelines.
