Peer Review Process

The International Journal of Management and Economic Research (IJOMER) maintains a robust and rigorous peer-review process to uphold the highest standards of scholarly excellence. The process is designed to ensure the quality, credibility, and validity of the research published in the journal.

  1. Initial Editorial Screening: Upon submission, manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their alignment with the journal's focus and scope, adherence to formatting guidelines, and overall suitability for peer review.

  2. Expert Reviewers Selection: Submissions passing the initial screening are assigned to expert reviewers with relevant expertise in the field. Reviewers are selected based on their academic credentials, research experience, and a track record of contributions to the subject matter.

  3. Blind Peer Review: IJOMER follows a double-blind peer-review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential. This ensures an unbiased evaluation of the manuscript based solely on its academic merit.

  4. Comprehensive Evaluation: Reviewers conduct a thorough evaluation of the manuscript, assessing aspects such as methodology, theoretical framework, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the existing body of knowledge. They provide constructive feedback and recommend necessary revisions or improvements.

  5. Author-Reviewer Interaction: Authors receive feedback from reviewers, and a dialogue may ensue to address queries or seek clarification. This interaction contributes to the enhancement of the manuscript's quality.

  6. Editorial Decision: Following the peer-review process, the Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editors make an editorial decision based on the reviewers' assessments. This decision may include acceptance, minor or major revisions, or rejection.

  7. Revision and Final Decision: If revisions are recommended, authors are invited to revise their manuscripts in response to the reviewers' feedback. The revised version undergoes a final assessment before a final editorial decision is made.

By adhering to a meticulous peer-review process, IJOMER aims to ensure the integrity and scholarly rigor of the research published, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of management and economics.
